The Cemetery Associate in Belleau, France, is trying to create a file for each of the soldiers buried or honored on the Wall of the Missing at the Aisne-Marne American Cemetery. She is seeking information about Matthew C. McGraw, who was a Private in the 26th Infantry Regiment, 1st Division, of the U.S. Army. Pvt. McGraw, who was from DeFuniak Springs, died on July 20, 1918, and is listed as Missing in Action or Buried at Sea. His induction card can be viewed at www.floridamemory.com/Collections/WWI/card.cfm?intOurDocID=17919. He was only 17. The Cemetery Associate has found that his father William is buried in Piney Grove Cemetery. She is wondering if any photographs are available or if we might have other information about him, such as any brothers or sisters. Diane HD#36
