From a website visitor:
I found my ancestors living in East DeFuniak Springs in the 1920 census on Glendale Rd. The locations before and after them are Golf Links Road, Glendale Rd., Township's Colored Quarters and then Old Bruce Rd. I am having trouble finding any of these locations on a map. This is all in the census East DeFuniak Springs, Precinct 14, enumeration district 152 that includes DeFuniak Springs town, (part of), and including County Jail and County Poor Farm. & [Palmer] College; De Funiak Springs town (part of) and institutions should be shown separately on schedules.
Are there any references to the poor farm location? I found on your website that in 1933 Mr. [McCollough] operated and managed the farm. Is there any record of where the farm was located?
