Fort near 'Live Oak Point/Alligator Point' Santa Rosa Beach

Hello,

I am looking for anyone who knows of a former fort in the 'Live Oak Point/Alligator Point" area of Santa Rosa Beach just north of Hogtown Bayou. Looking at maps there is an indication of a fort pre ~1940s. The maps after that time frame it is not listed. Thanks for any help or leads.

I have read quite a bit about that area but don't recall reading of a fort. Are you able to provide a link to the map you mentioned that shows the fort?

I'll keep an eye out for the fort as I review maps and documents.
