I received the following email: Hello. I am a research assistant at the University of Florida working on a grant project involving mid-century modern housing. My team and I have not been able to find any unique or representative mid-century modern housing in your county. As historical representatives of your county, I would be most grateful if you could inform me of any such structures in your area or any important or local mid-century modern architects that we could investigate. Any suggestions? Diane HD#84

I received more information about the study: My team is looking at all mid-century modern housing from 1945-1975. However we have three focuses, ranch style houses, ranch style communities, and unique pieces of architecture from well-known or locally known architects. As part of a larger study, our goal is to express the history, value, and importance of modern architecture in Florida and those who contributed to it. The main area with ranch houses is along the Gulf Coast. Do any architects come to mind?
