Knox Hill Pottery was created in Walton County in the late 1860s. Where did the potters get the clay?

Mr. Odom got his clay from Turnlee spring near Knox Hill.The pottery was open only one year from 1859-1860 .

We have two great examples of Knox Hill Pottery at the Walton County Heritage Museum in DeFuniak Springs.
