From a website visitor: I have two death records - Rubie Lee Powel and Girtrude Powel. These sisters died within two days of each other in 1917. One was buried on 11 March and the other on 13 March, 1917. They died in Paxton, FL. Hardshell is listed as the cemetery name. Can anyone tell me where this cemetery might be? Surely, they didn't take the girls all the way to Coffee Co, AL (where I did see one reference to Hardshell Cem). Any help will be much appreciated. Diane HD#23

Butch Lawrence may have solved the mystery already: It may be that they are talking about hardshell Baptist churches. There is one right at the Alabama line called Eight Mile or Mt. Gilead. They may be there. Thanks, Butch!
