A woman who owns property in the area of the old Jackson Still would like to learn more of its history. We know the area was first owned by Elihu Jackson. There is an existing Caney Creek Community Cemetery by the church, and there was reportedly a black cemetery on the land that once held a turpentine still. Any recollections of that area would be appreciated.
